Des Moines West KOA is located just west of Des Moines and is open from April through November. Laundry facilities, wireless Internet and a fishing pond are among the the features of the park. A swimming pool is also open from late May until early September. All RV sites have full electrical hook-ups and can accommodate vehicles up to 74 feet in length. RV sites also have a grassy area, picnic table and fire pit. Rates are charged on a nightly basis, and KOA Value Kard Rewards members receive a discount.

Timberline Campground is located west of Des Moines and near Interstate 80. A heated swimming pool, picnic area, and playground are among the amenities at the campgrounds. Basketball and volleyball courts can be used in the summer months, and wireless Internet access is available throughout the park. Guests can get their RVs washed at the wash barn. A number of area attractions can be reached in 15 minutes or less by car, including downtown Des Moines and Valley West Mall. Nightly, weekly and monthly rates are available. One vehicle is allowed per site, and both full and partial hook-ups are available.

Sleepy Hollow RV Park is located in eastern Iowa just 15 miles west of Iowa City. The park features a fishing pond, laundry facilities and a convenience store. Both back-in and pull-through RV sites are available. Guests may choose between full electrical hook-ups with either 30 or 50 amps or water electrical only sites. Daily and weekly rates are available all year-round, and during the winter the park offers long-term rates as well. Pets are allowed as long as they remain leashed at all times.
