Camping at Rock Crusher Canyon

Fall asleep amid 80 acres of lush green hills and moss-covered trees at Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park in Crystal River, Florida. Situated on the Nature Coast, the park’s proximity to the Crystal River and Homosassa Springs allows you to stay close to the action and take advantage of the area’s many activities on, off or in the clear waters. After a day of fishing for grouper or exploring the Homosassa Wildlife Park, rest up at the Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park.
  1. Home Away from Home

    • Park your RV for the short- or long-term on one of nearly 400 spacious sites. The level sites have full hookups. Stay connected to the outside world via free Wi-Fi access and cable TV. The park can accommodate all sizes of RVs including pull-thrus and big rigs. If you prefer to only bring your suitcase, rent a furnished park model, which includes one bedroom, a kitchen and living room. Laundry facilities and two bathhouses with restrooms and showers are available to all campers.

    Fun on the Grounds

    • Cool off from the Florida heat with a refreshing swim in the screened-in pool. Kids can burn off energy playing on the jungle gym and swinging on the playground, and the whole family can bond over a game of horseshoes or shuffleboard. After a day of play, relax beneath the stars while soaking in the hot tub.

    Fido-Friendly

    • Play fetch or let your dog run wild in the fenced-in dog run. Leashed pets are welcome in the campground, however they are not allowed in the pool area, bathrooms or in any of the buildings, including the park model. Prior permission must be obtained before arriving with your pet, and pit bulls, rottweilers, dobermans and chows are prohibited.

    Opportunities in the Area

    • Get up close and personal with the resident manatees by going for a swim in the Crystal River. Book a full- or half-day tour with one of the area operators, and let the experts take you to the marine mammal’s playground. Keep your feet dry and hike through the jungle on the 8-mile trail at Crystal River State Preserve, or walk along a coastal estuary on the 18-mile trail at Fort Island Gulf Beach. Attend one of the many concerts held at nearby Rock Crusher Canyon Pavilion & Amphitheater throughout the year. Past performances include Faith Hill, Joan Jett, Willie Nelson and Vince Gill.
