Plantation Place RV Park is located just five miles from the eastern side of Dallas and thirteen miles from downtown. RV sites are set up with 20-, 30- or 50-amp electric and full hook-ups. The sites are spacious and can accommodate rigs up to 65 feet long. Sites also come with free cable television, a courtesy phone and free wireless Internet access. Plantation Place has its own private lake and has 24-hour security. Sandy Lake RV Resort is located 12 miles from downtown Dallas. The resort has its own clubhouse, swimming pool, laundry facilities, public phone, game room, trailer storage and convenience store. Propane service is available at RV sites, which also come with wireless Internet. The park is directly across from the Sandy Lake Amusement Park, adjacent to the Leonard L. Woods Park Trail and near Fair Park, the Dallas Museum of Art, Lake Ray Hubbard and Six Flags Over Texas.

Dallas Hi Ho RV Park is fifteen miles from Dallas and rents RV, trailer, camper and tent spaces. Every site at the Hi Ho comes with its own shade tree. Sites also have pull-through access, wireless Internet, sewer hook-ups and both 30- and 50-amp electricity. The park has shower and laundry facilities, a dump station, picnic tables, a playground, barbecue grills, propane service and RV supplies. The Dallas Hi Ho is close to many major attractions in the North Texas area, such as Six Flags, the Cotton Bowl, Joe Pool Lake, the historic West End district of Dallas, the Dallas Zoo and the Dallas Aquarium.
