A public facility, Buckhorn Creek Park offers 57 recreational vehicle campsites that measure 15 feet by 40 feet. Six of the spots feature a pull-through design that eliminates the hassle of having to back an RV into the site. Electric and water hookups are available at all sites. Although there are no sewage connections, a waste dump is on-site for campers' convenience. Other on-site amenities include restrooms, showers and a playground. Lake O' the Pines is adjacent to the RV park area for freshwater fishing, boating and swimming. Trails for hiking and cross-country skiing are located at the park. Buckhorn Creek Park is open year-round. Reservations must be made four days in advance. A two- and three-day minimum stay is required on weekends and holiday weekends, respectively. There is a 14-day limit on all stays.
