Open year-round, Camp Meade RV Park has 50 sites available, with three specifically designed for handicap access. Eligibility requirements to make a reservation are active military, National Guard, reservists, retired military, Department of Defense civilians and Environmental Protection Agency employees.
RV sites have electric (11 volt and 20/30/50 amps), sewer, water and CATV hookups. It offers several support facilities such as a chapel, a bowling center, a craft shop, a banquet hall, an emissary, a convenience store, a laundry, pavilions, a game room, a fitness center, an equestrian center and restrooms with showers.
Other amenities and activities Camp Meade provides are boat rentals, Internet access ports, a playground, volleyball, a ball field, golf, pet boarding, pools, a picnic area, recreation equipment, horseshoes and fire rings.

Cherry Hill Park is less than 20 miles from Fort Meade, Maryland, and is the closest campground and RV park to Washington, D.C. Transportation into the city is available several times a day from the campground, or you can take a guided tour.
It provides 400 RV and tent campsites with electric (30- or 50-amp service), water and sewer hookups, and some sites are handicapped accessible. It has a laundry room with19 washers and 20 dryers, a camp store and restrooms with hot showers.
