The Ole Mink Farm in the Catoctin Mountains allows you to lease RV sites on a yearly basis only. All sites come with a picnic table, 30-amp electrical service, pump service, and water and sewer service. The security-gated campground also features a swimming pool, a game room, a playground, several nearby walking trails, new bath houses, a convenience store and gift shop, many Wi-Fi Internet access areas, and a dump station. Hayrides and weekend activities are available for guests who wish to remain in the park's wilderness setting, while the towns of Frederick and Gettysburg are nearby. Pets are welcome at this park.

It offers 65 RV sites with 30-amp electric service and water hook-ups, a bath house with hot showers, several picnic tables, a dumping station, and free high-speed Wi-Fi Internet access. Guests can also visit the nearby city pool and points of interest such as Harpers Ferry, the Appalachian Trail, and the Antietam National Battlefield. Several parks, shops, and restaurants are in the immediate area.

The Harpers Ferry Campground is just about 20 miles west of Frederick County, near the Harpers Ferry National Park in West Virginia. It offers RV sites with full hook-ups, a large outdoor heated swimming and wading pool, an indoor movie theater and basketball court, a meeting hall, a mini-golf course, a Civil War museum, and a pet playground. The location of this park is conveniently close to many Civil War sites, the horse racing track in Charles Town, and several trails and rivers. Regular themed activities are offered each weekend throughout the year.
