The El Rancho Campground is the only campground in the town of Vaughn. It features 12 RV campsites that can accommodate any size rig including some pull-through sites.
The park is family and pet-friendly but does not have any common showers or restrooms. Amenities include sewer, water and electric hookups, although electric is limited to 30 amps. There are no cable, telephone or modem hookups. As of February 2010, the rate is $15 nightly.

The Red Canyon Campground is located a short drive from Vaughn near the city of Tajique. Red Canyon is open seasonally, from April through November.
The campground features 11 sites that are suitable for either tents or RVs. There are group sites available. Each site has a picnic table, a fire pit and a grill. There are no hookups of any kind, but nearby Manzano State Park has a dump station campers can use for a fee.
Rates are $7 daily as of February 2010 with a maximum stay of two weeks. Red Canyon is located near the Spruce Spring, Red Canyon and Box Canyon hiking trails.

Santa Rosa Campground features 100 sites, 70 of which are pull-through sites to accommodate any size rig.
Hookups include electric, water, sewer, cable TV and Wi-Fi access. For campers who want to use the Internet but didn't bring a computer, there is a computer available for free in the camp office.
Santa Rosa has its own Western Bar-B-Q Restaurant with campsite delivery, and other camp features include a heated pool, a dump station, laundry, clean bathrooms and hot showers, a playground and a gift shop.
