The state of New Mexico offers visitors a variety of attractions and events to enjoy, including scuba diving at the Blue Hole near Santa Rosa, attending the annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in the state's largest city and exploring the natural dunes at White Sands National Monument. Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park is in Santa Rosa along Historic Route 66, approximately 10 miles south of Santa Rosa Lake State Park. The campground consists of 100 total tent and RV spaces, of which 83 are designated specifically for recreational vehicles. More than 70 of the spaces are pull-throughs, and the largest lots can accommodate vehicles up to 90 feet in length. Twenty-five of the RV sites have full electric, water and sewage connections with the remaining spaces having only electricity and water available.
Cable television is offered at every site, and guests can access wireless Internet throughout the campground. Many of the hookups are side-by-side, reducing the amount of room between vehicles. On-site amenities include restrooms, showers, a sewage waste dump and a laundry facility. An on-site store sells groceries, RV supplies, propane and firewood. Campers can eat lunch or dinner at the Western Bar-B-Q Restaurant located on the property. Santa Rosa Campground also features a swimming pool and playground. Pets are welcome.

American RV Park is in Albuquerque, less than 10 miles from attractions like the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History and the Petroglyph National Monument. The campground has 216 recreational vehicle campsites, of which 180 are available for short-term, overnight stays rather than seasonal rentals. The majority of the short-term site are pull-throughs, and the largest spaces are big enough for 55-foot vehicles. Every site has full electric, water and sewage hookups as well as cable television connections. Guests can access free wireless Internet throughout the campground.
For campers' convenience, the park has showers, restrooms, a sewage waste dump, public telephones and a laundry facility. Groceries, RV supplies and propane are sold on the property. Three restaurants are located within 7 miles of the campground along Central Avenue. American RV Park features a heated swimming pool, hot tub, horseshoe pits and a playground. Pets are welcome.

Boot Hill RV Resort is in Alamogordo, around 8 miles from both the New Mexico Museum of Space History and the northwestern entrance to Lincoln National Forest. The campground offers 50 recreational vehicle campsites, including 19 pull-throughs. All spaces are a minimum of 30 feet by 70 feet in size and feature gravel lots. Full electric, water and sewage connections are standard at each site. Wireless Internet is also available.
The resort features restrooms, showers and a laundry facility and sells RV supplies. More than five casual and fast food restaurants are five miles southeast of the campground along North White Sands Boulevard. The Boot Hill RV Resort also has horseshoe pits, an indoor game room, a book exchange, video rentals and an on-site art gallery. The resort also hosts live music regularly. Stabling facilities are available for horses, and other pets are welcome.
