RV Parks Near I-95 Exits in Maryland

Interstate 95 runs along the East Coast from Maine through Florida, and RV parks along this interstate can be either located in rural regions or located near major metropolitan areas like Washington, D.C. Attractions along this route include recreation areas, Chesapeake Bay, Bar Harbor, hiking trails, boating, galleries and sightseeing in Baltimore. RV parks near the major cities tend to be large with a lot of amenities while the rural ones do not have as many camping sites.

    • Cherry Hill Park is open year-round and is one of the closest RV parks to Washington, D.C. The park provides transportation into downtown D.C. Park amenities include two swimming pools, a sauna room, hot tub, restrooms, showers, propane refill station, laundry room and free firewood. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, miniature golf, a playground, game room, TV lounge, hiking and cable television. The park has 400 RV and/or tent sites with water, sewerage, electric, and 30 and 50 amp service hookups. There is a year-round convenience store located on site, and the park also rents golf carts.

    Woodlands Camping Resort

    • Woodlands Camping Resort mainly caters to seasonal, long-term camping sites, but it does have a few short-term rental sites and cabins. The campground is located inside Elk Neck State Forest on Elk Neck Peninsula, and is near Chesapeake Bay. It has full hookup sites with some up to 50 feet wide, and it is pet friendly in the campsites, but not the cabins. Amenities include a swimming pool, a playground, a pavilion for events, showers and restrooms. The campground also holds events throughout the year, including bingo, poker, dances and fishing tournaments.

    Bar Harbor RV Park

    • The Bar Harbor RV Park, open year-round, is located on Bush River and is 30 minutes away from Inner Harbor. The park has 93 campsites with full hookups and a marina for boat launches. Amenities include cable television, a swimming pool, playground, convenience store, kayak/paddleboat rentals, laundry facilities, restrooms and showers. Other amenities include free ice, propane gas station, free Wi-Fi, patios and barbecue pits. Local attractions include the National Aquarium, Maryland Science Center, Baltimore Ravens, U.S.S. Constellation and Fort McHenry. Other rentals include a floating house, which is located on the water, and cabins on the beach.
