RV Parks Near I-95 Exits in Connecticut

Although Connecticut is relatively small and RV owners traveling on Interstate 95 may plan only to stop in the state for gas, they might want to consider spending a night or two. Guests can take advantage of two pools that are open during the warmer months, a miniature golf course, a catch-and-release fishing pond, and bike rentals.     Seaport RV Resort

    • Two miles from 1-95, the Seaport RV Resort is near the beaches of Old Mystic and offers access to the Mohegan Sun, Foxwood and MGM casinos. The RV portion of the resort has large and level sites that come with water, electric connections up to 50 amps, cable TV and wireless high-speed Internet. These are also pull-through sites that can handle big rigs and are in shaded areas. The sites do not have sewer, although a free pump to remove the waste from your RV is available. On the grounds are a pool and a stream for fishing. The resort holds various promotions such as reduced prices on Sunday evenings and also has gift certificates available.

    Aces High RV Park

    • Three miles from the interstate, the Aces High RV Park is spread out over 93 of forested acres in the town of East Lyme. The property has three ponds, including one that is stocked with trout. The park has RV sites that come with 50-amp electric, water, sewer, and cable TV hookups. Some of the sites are located in grassy areas while others are along a pond. Seasonal rates are available. Features of the property include hiking trails, a sandy beach for swimming, a playground for children, a game room, a laundry facility, and paddle boat rentals. The grounds also have Wi-Fi Internet access and phone hook-ups for long-term guests.
