Located within the Coronado National Forest, the Catalina State Park office is located four miles from Oro Valley. The park has 120 paved sites, 95 with water and electric hookups. The park has a dump station but no sewer connections at individual sites. The park has eight hiking trails which are available for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Equestrian staging is available for visitors who trailer horses on a first-come, first-served basis. The park does not accept reservations: all sites are first come, first served. The park has a 14-day maximum stay. Pets must be leashed. The rate is $25 for electric sites and $15 non electric as of 2010.
