Other amenities include a fishing pond and playground. Reservations are recommended. The park is about one mile from Interstate 70 and can be accessed at Exit 41 (Route 231).

The park provides full services between April 1 and October 31, and offers limited services during winter. The park is located east of Indianapolis and can be reached by traveling on Interstate 70 and exiting at Exit 96 (Mount Comfort).
