This state park is located just south of Pickwick Dam, 12 miles south of Savannah, where the lake and river offer fishing, boating, swimming and a marina. This park has a full-scale restaurant that features Southern cuisine as well as an inn and conference center. There is a wide variety of sites to choose from, for instance, 14 sites have 20/30/50 amp electric, two are handicap accessible with 20/30 amp electric, 30 sites have 20/30 amp electric, and two have 20/50 amp electric. Reservations are not accepted for camping sites, and pets are welcome.

This family owned park is located on Highway 128, just south Savannah and a few minutes from Pickwick Lake and Shiloh National Park. It's also near many golf courses. Green Acres has free wireless internet and is open year-round. The site offers weekly and monthly rates for campers who want to stay in Savannah a while. It has more than 50 hookups and can accommodate any size RV with 30- and 50-amp service. Pets are welcome.

This island is privately leased, and the park is designed for families who want a back-to-nature vacation. While its address is in Mississippi, it is 20 miles south of Savannah.
