RV Parks in Knoxville, Tennessee

The city of Knoxville is the third largest in Tennessee and is the site of the former state capital. The University of Tennessee campus and Women's Basketball Hall of Fame are found in Knoxville and the secretive Oak Ridge National Laboratory as well as the Great Smoky Mountains are a short drive away.     Escapees RV Club

    • The Escapees RV Club is set in the town of Heiskell at the foot of the Smoky Mountains. The park is about 10 minutes from Knoxville and 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Rugby Historic Village and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. 53 of the park's 76 RV sites come with pull-through access and full hook-ups. A swimming pool, clubhouse with library, laundry room, hiking trails and wireless internet access are among the amenities offered at the park.

    Big Ridge State Park

    • Big Ridge State Park is situated in the town of Maynardville about 10 miles from the city of Knoxville. The park offers 50 camping sites that can accommodate everything from tents and trailers to RVs. Each site features gravel parking pad, water and 50-amp electrical hookups as well as a picnic table and grill. Guests at the RV park enjoy all the facilities of the park including biking trails, boating and fishing in the 49- acre lake and numerous hiking trails. Norris Dam State Park, Museum of Appalachia and Chuck Swan Wildlife Management Area are some of attractions nearby.
