North Landing Beach is on the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway, 20 miles from the ocean front. Campers can take advantage of a private beach and two man-made channels that circle the camp. The channels support boats of up to 28 feet, and the camp provides kayaks and canoes. Those who love to fish can fish and crab in designated areas, while families can set up a pup-tent for children in extra-large family-zone sites. Children can also horse around in the playground and go swimming in the pool. Less nature-inclined campers can play volleyball or horseshoes, then head over to the full-service deli restaurant. Campers with RVs have 20 water and electrical hookup sites and 95 full hookup sites at their disposal. The electrical service comes in 30 or 50 amp. Both back-in and pull-through sites are available, with room for big rigs. Propane and firewood delivery is available. Campers can also stay connected with free wireless Internet. The camp has restrooms with showers and laundry facilities. Rates vary, but start at $24 a night, as of 2010.
