San Angelo is a historical town located in the heart of Western Texas. For water sports enthusiasts, the area is home to three lakes and a river. The Spring Creek Marina & RV Park is situated right on the shores of Lake Nasworthy. The park features more than 80 full-size RV sites, complete with electrical, water, sewer and even cable TV hookups, as well as access to the on-site boat launch and docks. Fisherman can fish for bass and catfish from lighted docks, while kids can horse around on the on-site playground. Free shower facilities and an air-conditioned, 24-hour laundromat are also available, as well as a cafe.

The San Angelo KOA is a 10-acre campground and RV park built on the historic site of the Fort Concho military outpost. The park is located a mile from Lake Nasworthy and in close proximity to the planetarium at Angelo State University and the downtown area. Water, electric, sewer, cable TV and wireless Internet are all available.

San Angelo State Park is a 7,677-acre state park located on the O.C. Fisher Reservoir. Water and electric hookups as well as picnic tables, grills and restrooms are available for each site. The park also offers more than 50 miles of hiking, biking and horse trails, as well as multilevel boat launches for access to the reservoir.
