During the hot summer months, there is arguably no better place to visit than the beach. It offers a lot of activities for your teenagers, such as swimming, tanning, throwing a football around on the sand and picnicking. You may want to find a beach that is somewhat secluded, as it is generally not very fun if the beach is crowded.
If you don't mind spending all day in line and around crowds, an amusement park can provide a lot of fun. Allow your teenagers to split up and see things they want to see. Do not make them walk by you at all times, as this will make things boring very fast. Ensure that each teenager has his cell phone at all times so you can keep in contact with them.
If your family loves spending time outdoors, camping is an ideal way to spend time together. Plan activities for every day (i.e., one day you will spend on a boat, the next day you will hike all day). You may also want to assign each teenager something to do, such as one fishing for food and having another in charge of cooking. Although the thought of chores may not sound fun, the teenagers will most likely enjoy it; especially if they get to perform the chores their own way.
A fun place to visit with teenagers is also the most mysterious. Allow teenagers to direct your driving. For example, when you stop at a stoplight, ask the teenagers if they want to turn left, right or go straight. Additionally, allow the teenagers to choose the destination. Although this could lead to arguing, try to come up with a compromise. Allowing the teenagers to pick and guide you will give you all a fantastic trip.
