The interior of the Doug Fir is a mix of 50s style diner and log cabin, with wooden inlay and retro furnishings.

A lounge offering food, drinks and music, Jimmy Mak's was founded in 1996 with a focus on "Greek and Middle Eastern food with great music in a comfortable atmosphere," according to the website. Various local and national jazz acts perform at Jimmy Mak's, some which have no cover charge and others which cost between $5 and $25. Performances begin at 8 p.m. every evening and minors must vacate the premises by 9:30 p.m.

The Kells has a full menu of Irish and Irish-inspired foods and a selection of beers, whiskies, wines and other drinks. There are daily happy hour specials on food and drinks as well, and a children's menu is available for little ones.
