Vacationers visiting Florida can enjoy accommodations at hotels themed after Disney and its characters. The Walt Disney World Resorts in Orlando offer many accommodation options, but a select few are actually themed after some of the Disney movies. There is even a resort on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, where guests can enjoy a vacation from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks but still have the Disney atmosphere.
Stay at one of three Disney's All Star Resorts at the Walt Disney World Resorts. Each resort has its own theme, music, movies or sports, all featuring characters from Disney animated films and shorts. The pools at each resort are themed with the beloved animated characters including the Three Caballeros, Mickey Mouse, Goofy and the characters from Toy Story.
Each resort has different themed buildings featuring different music styles, Disney movies and sports. The center of each building offers a view of a larger-than-life statue that stands three stories tall. Some statues include a drum set, megaphone, Woody, Buzz Lightyear and surfboards.
Guests can hunt for hidden Mickeys, enjoy time in the three arcades or grab a quick meal in one of three restaurants.
