Windsor is the southernmost city in Canada. Given the proximity of Windsor to Detroit and its suburbs, the Canadian city's bars are popular with Americans younger than 21, who flock across the river to take advantage of Windsor's 19-year-old minimum drinking age.
Mick's Irish Pub advertises itself as downtown Windsor's only Irish pub. Mick's features 10 beers on draft, including Irish imports Smithwick's, Harp, Bulmers and, of course, Guinness. Lunch and dinner are served, with soups, salads, sandwiches as well as classic American and Irish pub grub such as chicken wings, burgers, fish 'n chips and Guinness beef pot pie. The atmosphere is typical of an Irish pub, with dark tones. Live bands play Thursday through Saturday.
