Bars in Tecumseh, Ontario

Tecumseh, an Ontario suburb east of Windsor, sits on the banks of Lake St. Clair. Originally called Ryegate Postal Station and first settled in 1792, the townspeople renamed the city in 1912 after the famed Shawnee tribe leader. Every August Tecumseh hosts the annual Tecumseh Corn Fest, celebrating the town's agricultural industry. A small town with the balance of big city amenities, Tecumseh has several bars in the area.
  1. The Original Tecumseh Roadhouse

    • The Original Tecumseh Roadhouse specializes in smoked American-style barbecue. It has a casual sports bar atmosphere and is also family friendly, offering a children's menu and a take-out menu. The Roadhouse Signature sauces are also worth trying to experience their distinct, one-of-a-kind flavors that have clever names such as Carolina Mustard and Peruvian Death Paste. Patrons can make reservations for large parties or special private or corporate events. A regular venue for local bands and singers, the bar hosts live entertainment on certain days of the week.
