The Schooner Pride, designed to look like old trading vessels, is an 84-foot-tall sailing ship. Large enough to carry 49 passengers plus captain and crew, the Schooner Pride offers public and private sailing tours. For two hours, guests can enjoy a tour of Charleston Harbor with crew members pointing out historic and other places of interest such as area forts. The Schooner Pride does not have a set course, instead choosing to follow the wind and tides to create unique sailing experiences. In addition to enjoying the ride, guests who want a more hands-on tour can help the crew raise and trim sails. Guests can bring food but not drinks along for the trip. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages are available for sale on the Schooner Pride.
