The Frommer's website provides three days' worth of walking tours. Each day takes you on a journey to the different neighborhoods and attractions of Vancouver. These guides give detailed directions and information about each destination. You can print these pages to take with you or you can consider buying the book, "Frommer's Vancouver & Victoria."
If you're interested in walking tours that aren't quite so detailed and have a different emphasis, you might want to check out Tourism Vancouver's walkabouts. These capsule guides give suggestions for short or longer walks at different points of interest and include both city streets and nature trails. The Yaletown walkabout will take you through this trendy neighborhood with its coffeehouses and restaurants and along the seawall facing Stanley Park to Granville Island, where you can begin another walkabout. If you're in the mood for something more strenuous, the Capilano River - North Vancouver Trails walkabout will take you on a three to four hour hike on the Capilano Pacific Trail. It is recommended you bring along a guidebook for this trail.
Tour Guys offers three free, guided walking tours through some of Vancouver's most popular attractions. The Stanley Park tour will take you to different points of interest in the park, including the First Nations' totem poles and the Brockton Point lighthouse. The West End and Granville Island tour will show you the sights of the inner city before taking you on a ferry ride to the island. Note: thought the tour is free, you will have to pay for the ferry ticket. The Gastown and Downtown walking tour will give you the chance to experience both modern and old Vancouver. The Tour Guys also offer signature tours for a fee.

Vancouver contains North America's third largest Chinatown. To learn its history and cultural significance and to sample its goods, you may want to join the Wok Around Chinatown walking tour. Robert Sung, tour guide and 4th generation Chinese-Canadian, begins the journey at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. After viewing this representation of a Ming Dynasty garden, you will be lead through the specialty shops of Chinatown, view historic landmarks and visit a Taoist temple. A dim sum lunch will be provided as part of the cost. As of August, 2010, this four-hour tour cost $68 and operates Friday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
