The African-American History tour offers guests an opportunity to explore several of Savannah's landmarks. The two-hour tour includes information about the first Underground Railroad and the Civil Rights movement, as well as the history and culture of the Gullah Geechee people, descendants of West African slaves who have managed to preserve the majority of their African language and culture. The tour visits the First African Baptist Church, Haitian Memorial, African-American Family Monument and the Reconstruction-era Bryan Free School. As of 2010, tours start daily at 1:00 p.m., and prices range from $3 to $30.

The Savannah's Freedom Trail Tour is a two-hour exploration of slavery. Guests visit slave burial grounds, the Underground Railroad, slave auction blocks, and historic African-American communities and buildings, such as the First African Baptist Church, reportedly the oldest black church in North America.
