  1. Tolquhon Castle

    • Tolquhon Castle is an historic castle rebuilt in 1584 by Sir William Forbes. Forbes stashed his valuables in a secret hiding compartment in the main house. The initials of the architect, T.L., are visible up high on the outside of the main house.

    The Aberdeen Art Gallery

    • The Aberdeen Art Gallery is a neoclassical building and features contemporary exhibitions, a collection of silver and classical works by Hogarth, Raeburn, Ramsay, Monet and Renoir and Francis Bacon.

    Alford Valley Railway Company

    • Aberdeen's Alford Valley Railway Company is home to Scotland's first narrow-gauge passenger railway. It is a replica of the original railroad that traveled between Aberdeen and Inverness.
