The beaches on Marco Island are pristine and pure. Its three public beaches are open from 8:00 a.m. until sunset every day. Tigertail Beach and Residents Beach-Main have showers, restrooms, concession stands and a children's play area. The Residents Beach South has the same hours but does not provide any facilities.
The fishing on Marco Island is great. Double R's will take you on a fishing adventure and guide you along the way. Hook some snook, redfish, trout, tarpon, pompano, snapper, grouper and king mackerel--no experience necessary.
Marco Island has two private golf courses and nearby Naples has several beautiful public courses.
Off the Hook Comedy Club has guests laughing every weekend at Capt. O'Brien's Seafood and Raw Bar (239-389-6900). The Big Cypress Gallery (239-695-2428) displays the black and white photography of the prominent Clyde Butcher.
Enjoy a delicious meal on the waterfront at the Snook Inn, have a relaxing meal at Guy Harvey's Island Grill, Blu Fusion, Marek's Collier House Restaurant, or try the Olde Marco Restaurant.
When you have had enough sun and sand--shop. The Esplande Shoppes have many specialty, upscale and unique stores along the waterfront. The Marco Town Center Mall also won't disappoint with its charming boutiques and cobblestone streets.
