Head to the Guest Relations office and ask for a birthday button inscribed with your child's name. Wear it and California Adventure cast members from store clerks to ride operators will greet the birthday honoree by name with a cheerful, "Happy Birthday!"
Make a reservation at a character restaurant like Ariel's Grotto in the Park or Chip and Dale's Breakfast in the Storyteller's Café located in the Grand Californian Resort adjacent to the park. Celebrate with the characters and order a Birthday Bucket, which typically contains a mini-cake and other items like a keychain and collectible pin.
Dine at one of the full-service restaurants in the park or the Grand Californian Resort. Many will offer a free dessert and sing "Happy Birthday" to the honoree.
Start singing "Happy Birthday" while waiting in a long line for a ride like Grizzly River Run, the Sun Wheel or Tower of Terror. Other park guests will most likely join in the celebration and sing along.
Visit the Mission Tortilla Factory in the Golden State area. While every guest receives a free sample after the short tour, anyone wearing a birthday button may receive an entire bag of tortillas if supplies are available.
Select a present for the birthday celebrant from one of the souvenir shops located throughout the theme park.
