Book your trip directly through Disney, by telephone or online. Go to https://www.disneyvacations.com for information and numbers. If you book online, you will be given the option to fill in the details of your celebration, including the person's name, actual birthday and how old she will turn. If you book by phone, you may be asked about birthdays you will celebrate during your trip. Provide details then.
Mention your celebration when you make advance dining reservations. If you book reservations online, fill in the appropriate information on the reservation form. If you book over the phone, tell the operator that you will celebrate a birthday during the meal. Provide details. Your birthday will be associated with the reservation and you may receive special treatment or surprises.
Call your hotel in advance of your arrival to have a note about a child's birthday added to your reservation. At check-in, the birthday girl or boy may receive some special surprises. Your room also may be decorated for the birthday. In the past, guests have found balloons, greeting cards signed by characters and other treats in their rooms.
Request an "It's My Birthday" button after you arrive at your hotel or at the park. Buttons are available at the front desk of your hotel or from Guest Services at any Disney theme park. These free buttons let everyone know it's your birthday, and you may get surprises during your visit to the park.
