How to Pack for a Water Park

Water parks are a lot fun, especially in the extremely warm weather. However, visiting a water park takes significant planning or else the trip will be more frustrating than fun. Without planning, it also will cost you more money.

      Buy or find your travel bag that you will take into the park. This bag should be roomy, but not too large that it becomes too awkward to carry into the park.

      Pack your swimsuit in this bag. If you have children, pack their swimsuits also. If you prefer you can wear your swimsuit to the water park, just make sure you pack a change of undergarments and dry clothes.

      Add sunscreen to your travel bag. You want to pack sunscreen with a 30 SPF or higher if you have very sensitive skin.

      Pack your beach towel into your travel bag. Make sure that you have a beach towel and not a traditional towel used in your bathroom. Pack one towel for each family member, plus at least one extra towel.

      Buy a hip pack to hold your money, credit card, cell phone and car keys. Store your valuable in the hip pack in multiple zippered plastic bag. This will prevent water damage to your money and cell phone.

      Rent a locker to store your travel bag for the duration of your stay at the park.

      Change into your swimsuit. Carry your hip pack with your car keys, money and cell phone. You will carry this hip pack throughout the park.

      Gather all of your belongings from you locker at the end of the day. Double check to make sure you don't leave anything behind.
