The resort includes features appealing to all ages and tastes, along with family changing rooms complete with lockers, bathrooms and showers. Private cabanas for up to eight guests with couch, refrigerator and cable TV are available. It is recommended you book the cabanas through the CoCo Key website. The park's key attractions for younger children include the Zero Depth Entry Pool and slides which are restricted to children less than 4-feet tall. The Parrot's Perch play island is for kids ages 3 to 8. Lifeguards are in attendance. Family dining options include an American-style menu at Sunflower's Restaurant.
Teenagers and older children can enjoy the waterpark's giant slides and rides. The 40 foot Shark Slam, Gator Gush and Barracuda Blast offer body and raft water slides. Tired teens float downriver on a tube at the Adventure River; active teens play water basketball at the Coral Reef Cavern. Hungry teens can eat at one of the park's five restaurants to fuel up on pizza and hot dogs for epic battles at the Quest Arcade, a gaming center with over 40 popular electronic games.
Romantic spots for couples at the waterpark include the Palm Grotto heated indoor or outdoor giant whirlpool baths. Couples can rest up at private thatched-roof cabanas before dining at patio tables in the landscaped courtyard of Sunflower's Restaurant during the summer months. At the end of the day, couples can relax at the Palm Grotto Spa, an adults-only space, or take a romantic stroll through the lodge arboretum and botanical gardens. For extended visits, the Cherry Valley Lodge offers Jacuzzi suites.
Singles at Coco Key can meet up at a variety of locations including the Wet Rooster Bar in the park and the Cherry Valley Lodge pub, where they can enjoy a selection of beers and wines and dine on burgers, salads and sandwiches. For the perfect end to your day, try an individual spa treatment at the Banyan Leaf Spa or enjoy a round of golf at the nearby Longaberger Golf Course.
