- 2x4 inch lumber
- 1/2 inch plywood
- 4 inch PVC pipes
- Rollers (skateboard wheels or similar)
- Screws, nails, and other fasteners
- Tools (saw, drill, hammer, etc.)
Instructions:
1. Plan the track. Decide where the roller coaster will go in your backyard. Make sure you have enough space for the track and the supports.
2. Build the supports. Cut the 4x4 inch posts to the desired height. Dig holes for the posts and set them in concrete.
3. Build the track. Attach the 2x4 inch lumber to the 4x4 inch posts to form the track. Use screws or nails to secure the lumber.
4. Add the rollers. Attach the rollers to the track using screws or nails.
5. Add the plywood. Cover the track with plywood to create a smooth surface for the cars to ride on.
6. Test the roller coaster. Place a car on the track and let it go. Make sure the car rolls smoothly down the track.
7. Enjoy your backyard roller coaster!
