Hong Kong Disneyland Tourism

Hong Kong Disneyland isn't all that different from the other Disney parks. Many of the attractions are the same and Disney is always top notch on their entertainment. But for people who are used to going to the Disney parks in the United States, there are a few things to consider about Hong King Disneyland.
  1. Park

    • Disneyland in Hong Kong is much smaller than its American counterparts. There is only one park, and that park only has four sections compared with six in California and Florida.

    Hotels

    • Disneyland Hong Kong has two hotels on site--Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Hollywood Hotel. Both hotels have a variety of rooms with the cheapest being $154 (American) as of 2009.

    Events

    • September through February is the time for Hong Kong Disney's holiday celebrations. Disney's Haunted Halloween runs from September to October. Disney's Sparkling Christmas runs from November to December. And the Chinese New Year Celebration runs from January to February.

    Tickets

    • Unlike the American Disney Parks, Hong Kong only offers one-day and evening tickets (for select evenings during Haunted Halloween). The one-day pass costs approximately $45 and evening tickets are about $29 as of 2009. They also offer an annual pass for $168.

    Dining

    • Like the other Disney Parks, Hong Kong is no exception when it comes to dining. They have a variety of choices both in the parks and at the hotels that will please any appetite.
