A local coffee grower and distributor, the Cafe Ruiz Coffee Plantation offers three guided tours for visitors to the Boquete Valley region of Panama. The Art of Tasting Coffee tour features taste profiles and coffee pairings, while The Roasting Coffee Path tour focuses on the coffee roasting process. The Coffee Fruit and its Seeds tour shows guests the complete coffee process, from growing the beans to distributing the final product. All three coffee tours involve walks through different parts of the plantation, as well as tasting experiences. Cafe Ruiz offers coffee tours Monday through Saturday, although all three tours may not be conducted every day. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Finca Lerida is an eco-lodge, bed and breakfast and plantation that has been producing coffee since 1922. Guided coffee tours of the plantation offer an interactive experience where guests come face to face with the entire coffee growing process. The tour includes stops at the coffee bean growing fields and the processing plant. This coffee tour ends with a lesson on coffee roasting and cupping. Patrons enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee as well. The Finca Lerida Estate Tour accommodates guests staying at the estate and those visiting the plantation solely for the tour. Reservations are required, and the coffee tour may be combined with the estate's birdwatching tour or hiking tour.
