The Botanical Gardens of Tuscon offers educational classes and tours to teach the importance of the beauty of the environment to the whole family. Classes like "An Inside Look at Butterfly Magic", "Good and Bad Pests" and "Birds and Butterflies of the Catalanas" are typical of the entertaining and educational programing available at the Gardens.
Guests to the Botanical Gardens enjoy nutritious foods such as organic, artisan sandwiches, salads, quesadillas and teas. Enjoying the fresh products of nature helps educate about the need to preserve the environment. The cafe is open between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Acacia is a local restaurant that now manages the botanical gardens in Tuscon.

Tuscon Electric Park is part of Kino Sports Complex, which is a beautiful park to see a minor league baseball game with its view of the Santa Catalina Mountains. The Park holds 11,000 spectators. Kino Sports Complex offers lighted soccer fields; 12 senior baseball fields; two lighted youth softball fields and ramadas throughout the complex. These are roofed shaded areas used for picnics. Youth baseball and soccer leagues utilize the many athletic fields to practice their skills and dream of playing for the Arizona Diamondbacks in Major League Baseball or their favorite professional soccer team. By checking the entertainment calendar you can find an occasional concert being held in the complex as well.

The Art Museum in Tuscon gives visitors an up-close look at the Art of the American West as well as the Art of Latin America with exhibits of pre-columbian paintings, sculpture and other art work. The journeys of Louis and Clark and other explorers are highlighted as well as a constant flow of glass blowers, wood workers and other artists make each trip to the museum a new experience. Exhibits alternate and the most popular ones periodically return to entertain and inform new guests.
