With 25 rides and other attractions, Adventuredome offers activities for kids of all ages.     • The days of Monopoly and Checkers are a thing of the past at Las Vegas' Gameworks, which is located on the strip next to the MGM Grand. Here, you and your kids can play high intensity and fantastical games, such as UFO Catcher and Virtual Bowling (See Ref 2).     Las Vegas Natural History Museum

    • Kids wanting to get away from the bright lights and noise of the strip should stop in the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. The museum offers an educational, yet fun alternative for children interested in wildlife, culture and ecosystems. While there, kids can explore the treasures of Egypt or Nevada wildlife through one of the musuem's many exhibits.The Las Vegas Natural History Museum is open daily from 9am to 4pm and is $5 for children 3-11 and $10 for adults (As of August 2010). Children under 2 are free.

    Ethel M Chocolate Factory

    • Visitors don't only find the chocolate delicious, but educational as well at Ethel M Chocolate Factory. Here, kids can learn (and taste) the chocolate-making process, as they witness a chocolate factory in action. Guests will appreciate the Chocolate lounge, where they relax while sampling chocolates. Tourists can also explore the Ethel M Botanical Cactus Garden (adjacent to the chocolate factory) where visitors can discover 300 types of plants.
