The annual three-day Atlantic City Car Show & Auction claims to be the largest indoor car show in the United States and to have the lowest buyer fees. The auction boasts same-day pay for all car sellers. Held in the Atlantic City Convention Center each winter, the event attracts more than 60,000 visitors each year to admire the more than 600 cars on the auction block and the more than 500 on display in the car corral and salons.
Classic car owners often come for its Automotive Flea Market with hard-to-find parts for sale. Auction highlights include roadsters and touring cars from the 1930s as well as classic models from the '40s, '50s and '60s.
The event starts with a cocktail party preview auction limited to 50 vehicles at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa. Children under 12 have reduced tickets. Groups or clubs of 20 or more receive discounted tickets and will be listed on the "Groups in Attendance" wall.
