SeaWorld Orlando Facts

If you want to discover the wonders of the sea without diving into the ocean, you should visit SeaWorld Orlando. There is no other place to enjoy a marine adventure comparable to this one.
  1. Animals

    • You can watch dolphins, sharks, manatees, penguins and other sea creatures in their habitats. Visitors also can walk through glass tunnels to see sharks up close or have a friendly encounter with dolphins.

    Rides

    • The best of the rides is Kraken, a roller coaster created for an old Greek mythical sea monster. You are taken to the depths of the sea in this monster at a speed of 65 mph while your feet are dangling. Another good one is "The Journey to Atlantis," which is a wild adventure to discover the lost mystical city of Atlantis.

    Other Attractions

    • SeaWorld also offers a midway, where you can win prizes; shows; and Shamu's Happy Harbor, which was created for kids. Happy Harbor is filled with palm trees and giant pink flamingos, and there are tunnels, slippery slides and flamingo-style paddle boats.

    Admission & Tickets

    • SeaWorld is open year-round beginning at 9 a.m. and has extended hours during the summer and on public holidays. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or at a discount online. Discounted package deals are available that include tickets to other attractions, such as Aquatica and Busch Gardens.

    Other Things to Do

    • Other interactive fun includes feeding sharks and touching rays. For an extra fee, you can even kiss a beluga whale and feed a dolphin.
