Firestone Live --- formerly known as Club Firestone --- is a club in Orlando that has numerous live music events featuring small, local bands trying to gain some recognition, and big-name bands that are touring the nation. The club often features rock 'n roll bands; however, hip-hop bands and DJs also take the stage. Some famous artists who have performed at Club Firestone include Cake, Escape the Fate, Lil' Wayne, Digweed and Snoop Dogg. In addition to having multiple bars that serve beverages and three different lounge areas with comfortable couches, Firestone Live also contains a spacious dance floor and a refreshing outdoor patio section. The club distributes tickets for its many events through Ticketmaster, and although prices vary depending on the band performing, tickets for most shows, as of 2011, usually range from $20 to $30.
Located in downtown Orlando, Will's Pub combines the comfortable and intimate ambiance of a local bar with the energetic atmosphere of a music venue. Almost every night, Will's Pub features live rock 'n roll music. The style of music ranges from classic rock to more aggressive forms of rock like punk and heavy metal. Will's Pub hosts unknown local bands as well as out-of-town touring bands. In addition to live music, the venue also has pool tables, pinball machines and TVs that display live sporting events. The pub only serves wine and beer (no hard liquor), but they offer an extensive selection of beers, including numerous micro-brews. As of 2011, the cover charge at Will's on most nights is around $5.
The Social is a club located in downtown Orlando featuring live rock music for those who want to dance on the large dance floor, or sit down to enjoy the music while relaxing with a drink. Both well-known rock bands and unknown local bands perform at the Social, but rock is the style of music featured on most nights. Some bands that have played at the Social include Jimmy Eat World, BoomBox and the Yonder Mountain String Band. For some shows only people older than 21 can enter; however, there are also shows which permit anyone over 18 to enter. The ticket prices are different for each night and for each event, but the prices (as of 2011) usually range from $5 to $30.
The Hard Rock Live in Orlando is a massive music venue with the capacity to hold 3,000 people. Located on Universal Studios' CityWalk, Hard Rock Live is shaped as a model of the Roman Coliseum, contains six full bars throughout the venue and is adjoined to the Hard Rock Cafe, which serves a large menu of food --- ranging from sandwiches and burgers to chicken and steak entrees --- and has over 1,000 seats for those who want to eat a meal while enjoying the live music. Hard Rock features live music performed by both emerging artists and nationally (or internationally) famous artists. Some famous acts that have rocked out on the Hard Rock Live stage include Elton John, Willie Nelson, Bill Walsh, Pink and Velvet Revolver. Tickets for Hard Rock concerts are available at the Hard Rock Live box office or at all Ticketmaster locations, and tickets for most events range from $20 to $30, as of 2011.
