Properly dispose of waste and lard. Discard waste and cooking oils in a trash receptacle. Allow it to harden, and never pour it down the sink.
Recycle all plastics and bottles. Maintain a recycle bin in the home, and properly sort materials by type. For example: paper, plastics and glass.
Dispose of tampons in the trash, and never flush them down the toilet.
Limit water runoff when watering your lawns. Chemicals and pesticides from your lawn can drain into the sewage system and pollute the water resources. Use natural fertilizers when possible.
Take wrappers and other materials with you when you leave the beach. These items can very easily end up in the ocean.
