What do Alaskans wear?

In the winter, Alaskans wear:

- Insulating layers, such as wool or synthetic fibers, to trap body heat.

- Outer layer of windproof and waterproof material to protect against the elements.

- Hat, scarf, and gloves to keep head and extremities warm.

- Snow boots with good traction to prevent slips and falls on ice and snow.

In the summer, Alaskans wear:

- Lightweight clothing, such as shorts and T-shirts, to stay cool in the mild summer weather.

- Rain jacket or umbrella in case of rain, as Alaska experiences frequent precipitation.

- Hiking boots or sturdy shoes for outdoor activities, as the terrain can be rugged.
