How to Fill in an American Express Travelers Check

While credit cards are widely accepted around the world, there are several reasons why you may want to use traveler's checks on your next trip. For one thing, they help you stay on budget. If you only have $1,000 in traveler's checks, you can't go overboard as you might with a credit card. If an American Express traveler's check is lost or stolen, it's easily replaced. You're guarded against harsh currency charges because your exchange rate is locked in when you buy your traveler's checks.
