Download podcasts from iTunes that allow you to listen to English lessons in Spanish. This is available through the iTunes store and can be found by searching for English lessons in the search box. Most podcasts are free to download. You do not need an iPod to play these. As long as you have iTunes or Windows Media Player on your computer, you can listen to them through the speakers or headphones. Podcasts are generally in mp3 format so you can also play these on any mp3 player.
Purchase a CD or DVD program, such as Rosetta Stone, Instant Immersion or Cambridge English Unlimited that teaches Spanish to English language. Complete activities as instructed; this will vary by program.
Sign up for classes at your local Hispanic or Latino community center or technical college. These centers and schools often offer night classes that teach English to those who live in the United States. There may be a fee or classes may be sponsored by the center. For example, The Milwaukee Area Technical Colleges offers a course for a fee that teaches English as a second language. Classes are on campus or at community outreach centers, such as the Spanish Center.
