Instructions

    • 1

Go to your local bookstore and purchase CDs and/or books on how to speak Norwegian. More expensive sets will include both CDs and books. These can also be purchased online.

    • 2

Dedicate time. You will need to practice the Norwegian language every day in order to perfect it. Set aside a specific time, such as 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. daily.

    • 3

Follow directions that accompany the CD. Some CDs will require you listen to the section, and repeat. Others may have you fill in the blanks of a workbook. Follow the instructions exactly so you can be successful in learning the Norwegian language.

    • 4

Make flashcards. These can be used at work or in your downtime to practice Norwegian. Flashcards are helpful because you can quiz yourself or ask a friend to help you.

    • 5

Speak Norwegian whenever possible. You cannot properly learn a language without practicing it.
