Can you get take the yellow fever vaccine twice in a year?

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends a single dose of the yellow fever vaccine for most travelers aged 9 months and above, and this single dose provides lifelong immunity. For certain people in specific circumstances who require higher immunity levels due to frequent travel to highly endemic areas or their work-related activities, an additional dose of the vaccine can be considered (after consulting with a medical professional), but ideally with an interval of at least a year.

So, in general, it's not recommended to take the yellow fever vaccine twice within a year unless there are unique circumstances and upon consultation with a doctor.
