How to Read a Uruguayan Climate Map

Walk along the beach barefoot nearly year round in moderately temperate Uruguay. Uruguay is nestled along the coast in South America and boasts a temperate climate. A temperate climate zone means that Uruguay does not experience extreme highs and lows during temperature fluctuation. Cities near the coastline in Uruguay do experience frequent fog and humid conditions, but the temperature remains fairly steady throughout the entire year. When you are reading a climate map, colors indicate a certain temperature range. Typically, oranges and red signal warmer temperatures while greens and blues indicate lower temperature ranges.
