How to Get Free State Road Maps
If you love to travel from state to state (or even love visiting areas of interest in your own state), then you may be interested in obtaining a state map. While maps are quickly becoming secondary to GPS (Global Positioning System) units, it is still wise to have a state map in your possession just in case you need one. While these maps are becoming harder to find, by making contact with an organization that sends out state maps, you will receive one free of charge.

Open your web browser and go to the free, folded highway map section of the website Mapathon.

Click on the state that you want a map for.

Read the information on the following page. Many times, you will be given a telephone number to call to request a free, folded map. Alternatively, you will have to fill out a form to be sent a free road map.
