Niagara Falls Location: Border of Ontario and New York

Niagara Falls straddles the border between Ontario, Canada, and New York, USA, on the Niagara River (flowing from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario). It comprises three waterfalls:

• Horshoe Falls: Largest, 57 m (187 ft) high, 670 m (2,200 ft) wide.
• American Falls: 21 m (70 ft) high, 323 m (1,060 ft) wide.
• Bridal Veil Falls: 24 m (79 ft) high, 17 m (56 ft) wide.

A major tourist destination with boat tours, helicopter rides, walking trails, casinos, hotels, and restaurants.
