Install cargo hooks on each metal stud on the interior of the trailer. Use "C" shaped hooks with a screw on the end. Drive them through the sides of the trailer at one-foot intervals.
Move any heavy boxes into the travel trailer and set them as far as you can from the door. To conserve space, stack them on top of each other. Do not stack anything on top of boxes that hold fragile or breakable items, though.
Stack lighter boxes on top of the heavy ones. Avoid stacking the boxes any higher than your shoulders so the stacks can't fall down and harm you or someone else.
Spread a cargo net over the stacked boxes. Hook the ends of the cargo net to the hooks in the walls. The cargo net may prevent your boxes from sliding around while you transport the trailer.
Purchase and install steel wire baskets and metal shop shelves. Purchase more or fewer shelves depending on the amount of space you have in your trailer. The wire baskets need to fit comfortably on the shelves.
Move the metal shelves into your enclosed trailer. Set them somewhere they will not block access to the boxes or the door. Set the wire baskets onto the shelves.
Fill the wire baskets with small items you don't want to store in boxes. Tuck the baskets back onto the shelves once you fill them.
Stretch a cargo net over the entire front of the shelves and attach it to the metal hooks on either side. The cargo net will stop the shelves and baskets from falling.
