What are the ways of losing citizenship in Ethiopian?

There are four main ways of losing Ethiopian citizenship:

1. Voluntarily renouncing one's citizenship. This can be done by submitting a written renunciation to the Ethiopian embassy or consulate in the country of residence.

2. Acquiring citizenship in another country. This automatically results in the loss of Ethiopian citizenship, unless the person in question is a dual citizen of Ethiopia and another country.

3. Being deprived of citizenship by the Ethiopian government. This can happen for a variety of reasons, including treason, terrorism, or other serious crimes.

4. Losing one's Ethiopian citizenship by birth. This can happen if a person is born to parents who are not Ethiopian citizens, or if the person's Ethiopian citizenship is revoked by the government.
