Visa Exemption:
- For stays up to 30 days, Bulgarian citizens can enter Thailand without a visa.
- The purpose of your visit should be strictly tourism.
- You must have a valid passport with a validity of at least 6 months beyond the intended departure date from Thailand.
- You must present evidence of onward travel (flight ticket) showing you will be leaving Thailand before the expiry of the 30-day visa exemption period.
- Make sure your passport has at least two blank pages for entry and departure stamps.
Visa on Arrival (VOA):
- If you plan to stay in Thailand for longer than 30 days, you can obtain a Visa on Arrival (VOA).
- You can get a VOA at certain designated airports and land borders.
- VOA for Bulgarian citizens allows a single entry into Thailand and is valid for up to 60 days. It can be extended once for an additional 30 days.
- To get a VOA, you must:
- Present your valid Bulgarian passport.
- Fill in the TM.6 arrival-departure card.
- Provide two recent (taken within the past 6 months) passport-sized photos.
- Show evidence of sufficient funds to cover your expenses during your stay in Thailand (at least 20,000 Thai baht or its equivalent per person).
- Pay the VOA fee (varies depending on nationality).
- The approval process for VOA usually takes around 20 minutes.
